Deutsch: Postkarte der polnischen Volksbüchereien vom Juni 1939. Die dicke Linie zeigt die „historische Westgrenze Polens“. Das polnische Territorium umfasst die Slowakei, Tschechien, Schlesien, Pommern, Westpreußen und Ostpreußen und grenzt bis an Berlin und Dresden. Die dünne Linie markiert die „heutige Westgrenze Polens“ (Juni 1939). Oben ein Zitat von Adam Mickiewicz: „Und jeder von Euch trägt in seiner Seele den Samen künftiger Rechte und ein Maß künftiger Grenzen.“
English: Post cart from Polish Libraries, June 1939, comparing "the actual boundaries of Poland" of the time with "the western historical boundaries of Poland" including Czechoslovakia and large parts of Germany. The quote by Adam Mickiewicz „A każdy z was w duszy swej ma ziarno przyszłych praw i miarę przyszłych granic"“ [1] [2] refers to future frontiers.
