Newspaper article

Hello, Sorry for writing in English, but I came across a newspaper article in an early Antwerp newspaper, that might be relevant to the person of Oldřich Kinský. See s:nl:Nieuwe Tijdinghen/1620/8 mei (1)#art2al3

The article reads:

„

Wt Praghe den 12. April 1620. [...] Den 10. deses is der Her kintsky Leyhman met Trompetten en Trommelen in die Hooft-kercke Thein ghedraghen, ende daer begraven, met veel Cappiteynen ende Overste.

“

In English:

„

From Prague, 12 April 1620. [...] The 10th of this month [10 April 1620] the Lord Kintsky Layman [?] was carried into the Main Church [of Prague] with Trumpets and Drums, and burried there, with many captains and commanders.

“

Yes, that´s him – Oldřich (Ulrich, Udalric) Kinský. Thank you for sharing, it is interesting. It seems he was buried in the Church of Our Lady before Týn. --Zolwikcz (diskuse) 30. 1. 2024, 15:18 (CET)
