I suggest somebody takes a look at the English article about the St George statue. The authors were Transylvanian Saxons, Martin and Georg of "Clussenberch", today's Cluj (Martinum et Georgium de Clussenberch in the Latin inscription, in which the dialectal Saxon city name is used). There is an excellent analysis of the statue and discussion about the sculptors and their style here:

You can easily access it using Google Translate. Currently your article deals more with kings and emperors than with the actual sculptors, and this source has a lot of what's missing here.
