Ale to je zobrazení přímo ze Zbraslavské kroniky. Více dobové než mnoho jiných obrázků.

My understanding of the Czech language is mediocre, but I think I've spotted an interesting controversy: Vaclav III is named by Czech sources and by English wiki (my bet is it was created by a Czech national) as a king of the Kingdom of Poland (1305-1306). At the same time Polish wiki pages and Polish historiography as such (I'm a Pole, moderately well versed in history) only name him as a titular ruler of the Kingdom of Poland, never a king, as his premature death prevented him from being crowned (of the more famous monarch listings the series of paintings by Jan Matejko from late 19th century can be quoted as a decent indirect source). Polish history has a plently of those who ruled the land since the 10th century, but only a few kings. Crowning was an important point of distinction with a special ceremony which more then a few monarchs failed to achieve. Is this controversy a matter of an oversimplication on the wiki part or something glossed over by Czech historiography? [[Wikipedista:Anfit|Anfit]] 28. 12. 2010, 10:11 (UTC)
