Historie
Deutsch: In einem Wappenbuch von 1544 taucht erstmals das von den Siegelbildern abweichende Wappenbild mit dem halben Eber auf. Dieser steht redend für den Ortsnamen, der “bei den Ebern” bedeutet und 1216 erstmals belegt ist. Seit dem 19. Jahrhundert steht der Eber zusammen mit einer Brücke als Hinweis auf den Fluss Baunach im Siegel. Die Farben sind seit 1835 belegt.
English: A roll of arms from 1544 shows as arms a canting boar (Eber). This boar never appeared on the seals though. In the 19th century the boar suddenly appears in the seals, standing above the bridge over the Baunach river. The colours were first described in 1835.
