«Прямоугольное двухстороннее полотнище с отношением ширины к длине 2:3, воспроизводящее фигуры из герба Монгун-Тайгинского кожууна, выполненные зелёным, синим, белым и жёлтым цветом».

Описание герба: «В зелёном поле под включённой лазоревой главой, обременённой зелёной горой, окаймлённой серебром и с серебряным ледником на вершине — золотой стоящий як».
