Die Farben des Teppichssind außergewöhnlich fein abgestimmt und zeugen von einem ganz besondersausgeprägten Sinn des Knüpfers für Farbenharmonie. Dieser Teppich, unübertrefflich was die Feinheit der Knüpfung und die Dichtedes Flors anlangt, wurde anfangs der 70 er jähre im Innern Persiens erworbenkam 1880 nach Teheran in den Handel, erst anfangs der 90 er Jahre nach Europa.Er ist heute noch genau wie damals, da derartig feine Teppiche in Persien weit-aus schonender behandelt werden, als in Europa, spielt doch der Teppich imHaushalt des Persers eine viel hervorragendere Rolle als bei uns. Der Orientale schätzt und liebt seinen Teppich, mit dem er sich gleichsam ver-wachsen fühlt, ungemein. Er bewahrt ihn ängstlich vor grellem Sonnenlicht undallen drohenden Schädigungen.
